What is My Coaching Model?

“Trust / Verify” - Observe and view work through portals, emails, etc.

I begin with the belief that students and parents genuinely want to do their best. Together, we identify the “gaps” that may require skill reinforcement or added accountability—while also recognizing and celebrating “superpowers” and progress. This balanced, affirming approach fosters both confidence and clarity.

The overall goal is to try to leverage natural supports as much as possible when/where it makes sense while concurrently supporting the lagging skills.  My passion is to ensure we reach and support as many families as possible and allowing for growth and independence.

Collaboration - Seek to Understand how/where student/parent are stuck.

My coaching is collaborative and deeply personalized. I seek to understand the needs of both the student and the parent, fostering alignment through open communication. I meet regularly with both to share progress, re-evaluate goals, and pivot as needed.

    Engagement / Family Team Meetings

I seek to ensure that both the parent/student are engage and take notes that are posted for review/follow up.  I also conduct consistent Family Team Meetings where we build a strong partnership that evolves alongside the student’s journey and/or parent coaching.

      Transparency / Visibility

To enhance transparency and continuity, I use a secure coaching portal to track session notes, share resources, and document action steps. This allows both students and parents to stay connected to the process, reviewing progress, activities, and goals at their own pace between sessions.

        Coaching Support Plan

Each student’s coaching plan is tailored to their unique personality, progress, and evolving goals—which may not always match their parents’ expectations. By honoring both perspectives, I create a space where growth is student-owned and family-supported.

Ultimately, my goal is to help students overcome challenges, build on each success.

        Coaching Approach

        1) Executive Function Coaching - My distinct approach empowers students to build their own personal toolkit that enables them to both develop the skills they need to succeed and visualize their growth and path to success.

I help students gain independence and become their best selves as they overcome challenges & build on each success. I teach skills that allow them to envision their desired goals, become self-motivated to utilize tools available to them, and fully participate in their growth across all settings of life.
I help students and parents create a strong partnership as they work together to develop the skills and experiences each student needs to succeed.

        2) Consider me your partner – When raising a child with limited executive function skills, often parents don’t know where to go for support. They may just need someone to listen, guide and support them. Where do we start? How do we navigate the education system? How do we map a plan for success? I am here to help you master all the nuances.
